JOHN CHIH-CHUNG LIN

Currently based in Taiwan, I lead industrial design and user experience initiatives at HP Inc., where I focus on creating thoughtful, human-centered solutions across a range of products.

Alongside my corporate role, I run StudioWonderworks—a personal design workshop dedicated to side projects and creative explorations. Before founding my studio, I gained extensive experience at Pilotfish, a renowned European design consultancy, and later served as Design Lead at Optoma. At Optoma, I spearheaded the creation of the CinemaX P1, a flagship home theater product that integrated cutting-edge technology with premium design. The product garnered multiple international accolades, including iF Design, Red Dot, Good Design, and CES Innovation Awards, and played a key role in redefining the brand’s identity in the consumer electronics space.

My expertise spans the entire product development cycle—from concept development and design strategy to production and UX research. I also conduct "Design Thinking" workshops to help teams discover and prototype innovative solutions.

In addition to practice, I contribute to design education as a visiting lecturer for graduate programs at Asia University and the National Taipei University of Education. I hold a Master of Design from National Taipei University of Technology and a Bachelor of Design from Ming Chuan University.
